Our story began the summer of 2012, when our owners Tim and Martha Holmberg established Dakota Equipment Manufacturing Inc. ("DEMI"). Tim and Martha served the South West Aggregate and Mining community since 1989, however looking to broaden their business into the northern territory. Our goals at startup were to better serve the entire United States, Canada, and international markets.

We began business out of a small shop in rural Cresbard, South Dakota and worked tirelessly to achieve where we are today. We began by pushing our new name into market every chance we could get, creating new logos and branding, airing on our local news station, marketing our products at trade shows, and even making lasting connections with famous mining icons.

Soon after opening our doors, DEMI Equipment would expand into a larger shop located in the industrial park of Aberdeen, South Dakota. We also continue to grow and expand our business into the southwest territory by running a fleet of service trucks based out of Phoenix, Arizona. 

As we carry on the designs and traditions of Dakota Fabricating's 30 year legacy, our DEMI Equipment team provides updated and customized designs to our industry.

DEMI Equipment instills the same ethics, hard work, knowledge, quality, and innovations in our company, that originated in the beginning with Dakota Fabricating.
